Difficult to describe, but very beautiful.  Vertical hanging paper with ochre edging.  Painting area is deep cream antique silk colour and the central panel has a lighter plum blossom pattern. To paint on it is like a semi-sized xuan. Great for most subjects I have painted plum blossom and a bird and added the character for Spring in the top window shape.  I am sure you will come up with many creative ideas of your own.
